Klipsch Heritage

Heresy IV
 in-stock

The Klipsch Heresy IV is both my most favorite and least favorite Klipsch loudspeaker. It's my most favorite, because I love the low height and funky angled ramp stand. It's my least favorite simply because it's the smallest - I love the La Scala most, then Cornwall, then Forte, then. . .you get the point.

That said, the low height of the Heresy IV is an important and frankly unique value proposition - it's goes low and it is low. The Heresy IV is both full range and, well, short - it's just over 2 feet tall.

How short is the Klispch Heresy IV?

It is so short you can put it in FRONT OF YOUR  WINDOW and still have a view, amongst other things.

- It is so short it can fit UNDER that huge 80" TV which spans your entire wall and leaves no room for speakers on either side.

It is so short you can put it on either side of a 32" tall console, and because it's shorter, you won't perceive your stereo as taking up as much visual room.

It is so short you can put them ON a long console counter bracketing your stereo - see lifestyle photos.

- It is so short it looks UP to R2D2.

Shortness aside, the Heresy IV is the baby of the Klipsch Heritage series, but like a baby bear, and R2D2, it's nothing to be trifled with. It is still 15" wide, 13" deep, and 45 lbs. of speaker with a 12" woofer in a ported cabinet, giving it a much more powerful bass and dynamic drive than most speakers.

Never underestimate a Heresy IV.

Angle-wise, the Heresy IV is a bit of an unusual design because it's tweeter and drivers are so low to the ground, they need this little built-in ramp like stand which angles the speaker up so the tweeters are pointing directly at you when in a seated position listening to your favorite tunes. The dynamic drive of the Heresy IV's helps out in this arena - they have a horn tweeter and midrange which are directional, so the sound goes 'right to you'.
