Klipsch Heritage

Cornwall IV

The Klipsch Cornwall IV is the largest and most powerful traditional bass driver loudspeaker in the Klipsch Heritage lineup. It has a less bass and drive than the La Scala, but rewards with a slimmer front-to-back depth and more streamlined single cabinet construction. It's large 15" front woofer provides tremendous bass dynamics, making this a classic speaker for classic rock and highly dynamic music. Excellent for filling large spaces such as lofts, but will play quite well in smaller rooms such as Pearl Audio's 12 x 14 listening room.

Why would you buy the Cornwalls IV? If you don't have the room for a folded-horn Klipsch, but you still want deep, full range bass, then the Cornwall IV is the next best choice. The Cornwall IV is also quite a bit less money, but still gives you big Klipsch full range sound. The Cornwall IV is a true full range speaker, and won't get you in much trouble, should you live in an apartment or condo. If bass is a priority, the Cornwall IV is the best deal in our store - by far.

The Cornwall is an awesome rock speaker, but we've also found it's just lovely for softer music like Jazz. It's a wonderful speaker to pair with a Pass Labs or Luxman class A integrated amplifier or a smaller tube amp. Pass Labs XA25, Pass Labs XA60, Audio Research I/50, or a Luxman L-550uXII.

Klipsch only uses book-matched wood veneers for the Heritage series. The veneer leaves are kept in order and arranged to provide a mirror image, like turning the pages of a book.

Heritage Series loudspeaker pairs are grain-matched using wood veneer panels from the same timber. Each cabinet is carefully matched so each speaker in a pair is practically indistinguishable from the other.
