The wait is over and McIntosh has released the new C2700 Vacuum Tube Preamplifier with their cutting-edge DA2 digital audio module which supports up to DSD512. Further enhancing the future-proofness of the C2700 and true to McIntosh's heritage of making products to last a lifetime, the DA2 is replaceable with newer digital audio modules as they are released.

HDMI ARC (audio return channel) allows easy and extraordinarily high-fidelity integration with TVs and theater systems. McIntosh's proprietary MCT connector also allows connection to a McIntosh SACD transport with native DSD decoding occurring in the C2700's superb DAC.

The analog circuitry has not been neglected. McIntosh has improved upon the already standard-setting performance of the C2600. The tubed MC and MM phono sections have 45% and 55% less noise than their predecessors, a stunning reduction for an already dead-silent preamplifier.
