The long awaited McIntosh MT2 turntable is here on display at Pearl Audio!

The McIntosh MT2 is a new more compact form factor turntable that comes in alongside the larger McIntosh MT5 and much larger MT10.  The MT5 being a longtime favorite here in the store, and we have one here should you wish to compare it to the MT2.

The MT2 has a 1" solid polyoxymethylene (POM)  platter, a hardened steel bearing within a sintered bronze, and a classic Sumiko Blue Point No.2 cartridge mounted to a gimbaled sapphire bearing dural-aluminum tonearm.   Driving the platter is a precision DC motor.  Comparatively, MT5 has a 2" under-lit acrylic platter and an inverted magnet ceramic main bearing.
