Clear Cygus is the entry level Clear technology interconnect cable sitting just below Clear and above the now-discontinued Clear Light. Cygnus has a more economical termination (GRMO or Neutrik XLR), and has a lower cost version of the air-tube suspension in the full Clear Interconnects. These are the best value in the Cardas line.
Compared to the former Clear Light interconnect, Clear Cygnus has a fuller and richer sound with an increase in bass.
Compared to the more expensive Clear interconnect, Clear Cygnus has a lighter weight presentation, cede some mid and upper frequency resolution and have a less black background.
